Think you know chickpeas? They are more than just an ingredient in 9 bean salad!
Join Karen and Mona for a culinary journey through the Sudan and learn how to make falafels, a delicious hummus and chickpeas in tomato sauce. These versatile pulses are a fabulous addition to your cooking arsenal. They are loaded with protein and fibre and can be used in place of many different foods.
Karen and Mona will guide you through the process to make your own falafel to take home, and show you how to prepare hummus and a chickpea tomato dish that you can eat in class. Expect a few Terra Roots surprises too!
