About the event

Celebrate Earth Day by unlocking the secrets to create a thriving garden—even in the smallest of spaces!

Join Denise on April 22 for a one-hour information session designed specifically for those new to the world of gardening. You’ll discover the art of companion planting, learning how to pair specific vegetables, herbs, and flowers to naturally boost growth and keep hungry pests at bay without harsh chemicals. We’ll cover some of the essential "dos and don'ts" of container gardening, identify which plants flourish in the same pot and which "foes" should be kept strictly apart.

Whether you have a balcony or a tiny patio, you’ll walk away with a simple plan to maximize your harvest and create a healthy garden you can enjoy all summer long.

Terra Roots Community Association is supported by City of Port Coquitlam Community Cultural Development (CCD) Investment Program.
