Tomato Canning Workshop

It’s that time of year when tomatoes are overflowing at the markets — the perfect time to learn the basics of canning tomatoes with Karen & Melissa! In this hands-on workshop, we’ll guide you through the process of preserving simple cooked tomatoes, step by step.

You’ll learn the essentials of safe water bath canning, get comfortable with the equipment, and leave with the skills (and a jar of your own canned tomatoes) to start stocking your pantry at home.

This beginner-friendly workshop is a great way to make the most of local seasonal produce. We supply the tomatoes and the canning equipment.

We do ask that participants bring a 9x13 baking dish with a cutting board that fits inside the dish. You will see why this is SUPER helpful to have during the workshop!
